I have two passions in life – one is food and the other is promoting a positive impression of Bangladesh. As a chef I have had considerable success in introducing genuine Bangladeshi dishes to people in the UK, Europe, Japan and even India. We have a great deal to offer and can be proud of the many things that mark us out as different from the rest of the sub-continent. Tonight’s menu is just one example of how worthwhile this difference is and how it can be used to stress our unique identity.
